Chickens of every size, colour and description, from feisty Bantams to majestic Koekoeks. Ducks the like of which you’ve never seen before, some are exotic works of art “Mandarins” one of the most colourful ducks in the World , others resemble arm-less soldiers on parade. Geese the self-appointed guardsmen of the farm patrol the perimeter, keeping would be trespassers (anything on two or four legs)at bay. In the corner bright yellow and green parakeets cheerfully greet you with what sounds suspiciously like “Gimme a Break”. While Guinea Fowl hone their Formula 1 racing skills in the veld next door, seven dogs run afoot, Joseph the talking African Grey Parrot by the house calls out to “Daniel” (who in all likely hood has departed for Spain). 4 horses, 2 black swans amidst a riot of blooms and plant life that drape the farm buildings like the sweet green icing rumoured to be melting on a cake somewhere in McArthur’s Park…. completes the scene.

Established in 1998 by Isabella Greensmith and located in The Crags; Garden Route, Western Cape. For the past 12 years Guinea Glen has supplied a variety of poultry stock and fowl, to the serious farmer and private individuals looking for a bit of bird life, and colour to brighten up their gardens and fresh eggs to brighten up their breakfast.

We take orders 7 days a week during normal business hours and ship nationwide within RSA only. (Sorry shipping livestock across international boundaries is a very difficult process)
